The Process
The Quorum bioreactor is filled with a packing media of high specific surface area. Bacteria, and other microbes gets attach to the packing media and forms biofilms. The biofilms breaks down the pollutants in the wastewater. The pollutants can be organic carbon, and nitrogen compounds. The metazoa in the bioreactor predates the excess biofilm and regulates the air-circulation in the bioreactor. The synergy among the biofilms, protozoa, and metazoa community makes wastewater treatment energy efficient, and hassle free.
